Description: The Century church is searching for a full-time minister.  “We prefer a friendly, outgoing, married man with a wife who is also a Christian and is active in the Lord’s work.  We are looking for a minister that is very sound and grounded in the gospel, who would likely work with us for a long period of time…We also prefer a man who can present lessons using PowerPoint.” The minister would also be expected to encourage, help plan, and participate in activities with the youth.

The Century church is located about two miles inside the state of Florida from the Alabama – Florida state line.  There are six towns located within 17 miles of the building.  Two in Florida (Century and Jay) and four in Alabama (Flomaton, Brewton, East Brewton, and Atmore).  The church has no parsonage. 

They have a yearly VBS, encourage the youth to attend Backwoods Christian Camp each summer, have a Wednesday night Summer Series with guest speakers, and occasional other activities.  “We have a friendly, stable congregation with very few people moving in or out of the area or congregation.  We would probably be classified by many as a rather conservative type of congregation.”   Resumes or inquiries may be emailed to: centurychurchofchrist@gmail.com or contact the elders listed.
