Job Summary: The Blairsville Church of Christ is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time preacher/minister to join their faith community. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to spreading the Word of God and fostering a welcoming, spiritually enriching environment for all congregants. This role involves delivering sermons, leading Bible studies, pastoral care, and engaging with the community to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver inspiring sermons and messages during worship services. Lead Bible study sessions and educational programs for adults, youth, and children. Provide pastoral care, including visitations, counseling, and support during times of need. Engage and collaborate with church leadership and members to foster church growth and spiritual development. Participate in community outreach and mission work to spread the Gospel and serve the needs of the wider community. Plan and conduct special services such as weddings, funerals, and baptisms.
Qualifications: A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to the teachings of the Bible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in preaching, pastoral care, and church leadership. A degree in theology, or a related field from an accredited Christian college or Preaching School is preferred, but not necessarily required. Ability to connect with a diverse congregation and community.
